What type of graphic tablet would you recommend (or suggest avoiding) primarily to be used with a laptop.

I currently have a Alienware m14x 1st gen i7 with 16 gigs of ram.

My options…

  • Wacom - Cintiq 13HD Interactive Pen Display - Model: DTK1300
The Cintiq 13HD is right in the $1,000.00 price range I am looking for and is about as close as I am able to get in the foreseeable future to the Wacom 22HD Cintiq I use at work.

OR

  • Completely replace my laptop, save up a few hundred more and get the Surface Pro 3 ??
