For those of you fasinated by Pixolators AlphaCenturytutorial I have updated my old script.
[]
You can create your terrain manually and then use the "Make" button to create a 3D object (automatically adjusted for resolution) or use the Zscript to copy your stroke onto the canvas until it reaches the depth that you specify. Use taper to automatically adjust the brush size while building the stroke so that it starts at BS (brush start size) and ends at BE (brush End Size) Note: set the Depth with the Set Depth slider (500 default)
Press "Reset" to automatically select your last brush and set the brush size to BS (brush start size)
When you are ready to create your 3D object, turn Autocrop On or Off and press Make. Then adjust the terrain depth to your liking with the + and - buttons.
If you don't want to see the Texture that is created, select Texture OFF.
Here is the script, lets add 10 more pages to Pixolator's Thread!
Example:
- Set Depth
- Set Taper and BS and BE if you want
- Create the Brush stroke on the canvas (change alphas to get different effects)
- Press “STORE” to save the stroke
- Press “Contour” to create the terrain.
- Wait until the script completes or hit ESC key
- If you want create more terrain strokes.
- when you are done select Autocrop on or off
- Press Make
- Adjust the 3D terrain with the + and - Buttons
I also might suggest that you use a document size of 512X512 to make your terrains to get the max resolution out of your 3D model.
