The point of this project was to capture a specific moment in time and the emotions I felt during it.
Three of my children were adopted from foster care and we are fostering the fourth. My kids have been to hell and back… physically, emotionally, and sexually abused… and with that comes a lot of baggage. One of my sons was having a really rough day and I sat with him for 90 minutes as he hit, kicked, screamed, and hated the world. Sitting in the mess and the ick, I loved him through it.
