Indiana Jones and The Great Circle - Necropolis Environment Sculpts

Hey everyone!

Been a long time since I posted here but while I was taking screenshots with some of the work I have done for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, I figured I would share some of the sculpts I have done on Zbrush Central as well

The sculpts bellow were mainly created in the context of the Warrior’s Tomb Mausoleum area, within a Necropolis found under Vatican that the player gets to explore as a full level during the first part of the game.
While being built by and for crusaders, the architecture in this room was meant to be highly reminiscent of the Roman Architecture, which is what I based most sculpts on as primary reference.

Most of these models were first blocked out in Modo, then exported and sculpted in Zbrush.

What an absolute joy to see this level of environment art here on ZBC. Love those trims man. Thank you so much for posting! Staff pick nominated

That is awesome to hear, thank you for the kind words!

Here are a few more renders containing a mix of unique sculpts of midpoly assets as well as assets done from scratch via traditional means and finally, assets that are mainly scanned objects which were then further tweaked/fixed/adjusted in ZBrush.
I will provide a bit more info bellow within each batch of assets:

Midpoly assets. These meshes ended up being decimated and then textured via tiles + material blends in the engine

Assets done from scratch (blockouts in Modo, then sculpted in Zbrush):

Assets that are scans which were then modified in Zbrush
The biggest modifications can be seen for example on the Oceanus and sons busts, which started from some scaned busts, which were then combined with scanned coral assets and then on top of that I did some manual sculpting to integrate the two main elements together.
Other modifications included changes in size, addition of cloth elements which were simulated in Marvelous then finished in Zbrush, adding destruction on some or simple changes of general measurements/proportions.
