Cant move or delete 'ghost' primitive sphere

Am I missing something super obvious? I can not delete or move this sphere, any other mesh check it will take on that new shape except for my wing vein mesh. When I click that a sphere is still stuck to it.
I made the mesh using the Transform - SVG tool - and it’s there but so is the sphere and it wont go away.

I suspect that you may have a sphere snapshot on your canvas as pixols.
Press cntrl +n to clear your canvas - this should leave only the editable mesh.
