Ai Apaec is a Mochica mythological God from Perú, he has fangs, belt and earmuffs of a snake that crosses the worlds to promote the continuity of the cycles of nature.
This is a personal work I made a month ago, I wanted to mix the digital and traditional media over an oil paint and a cellphone for a different exprerience with a 3D Augmented Reality.
First I made the 3D modeling on Zbrush, Substance painter, maya and photoshop to get a good refference, then I Paint it using oils on canvas, finally I created some algorithms to develop de AR in Spark Ar and Instagram as medium for the experience
The canvas´s size is 170 cm x 102 cm
