Vicky Von Doom almost didn’t survive a terrible lab accident at the University she and Reed Richards attended. She would have surely died if it were not for Reed’s help that fateful night.
Reed was performing his own robotic experiment across the hall during the first explosion.
With only seconds to spare, Reed was able to save her by transferring Victoria’s consciousness into the crude robot he had been working on at the time… Her beautiful body turned to melted goo moments after the transfer.
She never forgave him.
